Civil Engineer
Position Overview
Cromwell Architects Engineers is seeking a Civil Engineer for our Springdale, AR location. Candidates should have good communication skills, be well organized, and have the ability to work in a flexible environment. Familiarity in land development is required. Qualified candidates must be able to fulfill essential job functions, as listed below.
PE Licensure is required.
What to Expect
This position is best suited for an individual that can effectively work as a member of a design team and can also work independently. Candidate must be a motivated design professional who understands land development standards and cand design projects that comply with all local, state, and federal regulations.
Job Functions & Responsibilities
- Project Engineer
- Design sites (parking, sidewalks, grading, utilities, erosion control) associated with new and renovated buildings.
- Comply with local, state, and federal stormwater regulations (detention/retention).
- Meet with clients and government agencies as needed throughout the design process.
- Project Management roles based on experience and project types.
Minimum Requirements
- Professional Engineering License
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Civil 3D and/or AutoCAD
- Experience in Land development including Drainage, utilities, and commercial site engineering.
- Experience in initial concept through building completion (Including drawings and specifications)
- Experience in Infrastructure projects.
- Experience with Stormwater detention/retention and LID practices is a plus.
